About the Department

The St. Helena Police Department consists of 13 sworn officers including the Chief of Police, four dispatchers, and two Community Service Officers. We serve a population of 6100 and cover an area of approximately four square miles.

V.I.N.E. (Victim Information Notification Everyday)

VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday) is a service through which victims of crime can use the telephone or Internet to search for information regarding their offender's custody status and register to receive telephone and e-mail notification when their offender's custody status changes.

As a result of a new law, the California Megan's Law website will provide you with access to information on more than 63,000 persons required to register in California as sex offenders. MORE >>

Vacation House Checks
When you complete and submit the Vacation House Check Form, the St. Helena Police will periodically check your house and have your contact information in the office in case of an emergency. MORE >>
